    ExxonMobil Project
Completed gasoline UST system release investigations; site characterization work including monitoring well, soil boring, and soil gas point installation and sampling; fate and transport modeling and risk assessment; pilot testing; remedial system design; installation, construction, operation, and maintenance of combined groundwater and soil vapor extraction and combined groundwater and soil vapor extraction with air sparging remediation systems; procurement of NPDES permit; potable well sampling and treatment; hydrogeologic assessments; regulatory negotiations; and reporting.
  • Pennsylvania Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund – Multiple Claim Assignments – B&B has worked on more than 160 third-party technical review assignments on claims made to the state-run underground storage tank insurance fund. Assignments have included performing technical reviews of workplans and reports prior to submission to PADEP, review of proposed costs for investigation and remediation, facilitating the solicitation of competitive bids for site remediation, and litigation support. B&B is currently one of only four environmental consulting firms that perform peer reviews for PAUSTIF on other consultants working on PAUSTIF-funded projects. B&B’s recommendations on technical aspects of claims have resulted in savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Fund.
